Who keeps the altar
About
Last updated 19 October 2026
Pedalatry is a one-person project, built for guitarists who have spent too many nights with a tape measure and a pile of pedals. Pick a real pedalboard, lay out real pedals at their real size, and find a power supply that can actually run them, before you spend a cent.
Figures with receipts
Every size and every power figure comes from somewhere you can check. Where a maker publishes how much current a pedal draws, its page here shows the maker’s own words beside the figure, with a link to the page or manual and the date we read it. Where nobody publishes one, we say so rather than guess: a made-up milliamp figure is how a pedal gets cooked.
The power check works from those figures alone. It tells you when something will not work, when it will but you may not like it, and when it simply cannot know. It is free, and it stays free.
Independent
Pedalatry is not owned by, sponsored by or affiliated with any pedal maker or shop. The pedals you see are our own drawings, made from their published sizes and controls.
How it pays for itself
Some links to shops are affiliate links: if you buy through one, the shop may pay us a small commission, at no cost to you. It never changes which pedals, power supplies or shops we suggest. The details are in the privacy policy and the terms.
Credits
The centaur on the welcome page’s idol is “Centaur” by Delapouite, from game-icons.net, used under CC BY 3.0. The idol itself is ours, and no real pedal.
